The LILAC Point of Sale module adds a
retail counter front end to a network of PC's
running LILAC for purchasing, inventory
and accounting operations.
Each Point of Sale workstation may be
equipped with a standard desk-top PC, or
a purpose designed Point Of Sale terminal
equipped with touch screen, cash drawer,
customer display and barcode scanner.
LILAC implements an A4 point of sale
document layout as standard, but a variety
of alternative layouts and stationery sizes
may be implemented.
Products are sold from the normal LILAC
Inventory ledger, with all the usual
searching, price selection and calculation
features.
