| LILAC provides very strong support for
labour hire and employment agency
operations, to a potentially a very large
scale of operation. The software captures hours and rates primarily through the operation of the LILAC payroll module, for integrated time costing, job costing and then the invoicing of the time out to a client which is automatically generated from the same input. This means that all aspects of the labour hire operation are efficiently managed with a minimum of operator entry, and no duplication of postings for sales and costing. |
| Time Logging from Barcode Scanning |
| LILAC supports a (possibly remote) barcode
scan based time logging interface to the
payroll and labour invoicing modules, which
permits the use of employee badges with
barcodes to identify the individual, and
workstation or shop floor process identifiers
positioned appropriately in the workplace. These barcodes can be capture with a variety of hardware technology from inexpensive "keyboard wedge" scanners through to RF interfaced portable scanners. These can be linked back in real-time via an Internet connection to a LILAC server provided data capture from multiple workplace locations. |
